What is Somatic Coaching?
Somatic practice is a holistic accompaniment approach that focuses on the connection between the body and mind, using various techniques and body-based tools to help process and release complex emotions and tensions that have accumulated in the body over time.
The premise of somatic practice is that the body and mind are deeply interconnected. The body is affected by psychological and emotional experiences, and vice versa.
Emotional shock is stored in the body, in our nervous system, even if our conscious mind cannot recall it. These difficult experiences can manifest in various ways, such as, for example:
- Muscle tension and pain
- Digestive system dysfunctions
- Weakened immune system
- Insomnia
- Addictive behaviors (shopping, compulsive eating, alcohol, etc.)
- Anxiety
- Sadness
- Panic attacks
What Can You Expect from Somatic Coaching?

- You’ll release physical tensions accumulated over time and reduce chronic stress.
- Somatic Practice facilitates the processing and release of dense emotions stored in the body. This, in turn, could result in a reduction of symptoms related to PTSD and Complex PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder).
- Somatic Practice promotes greater body awareness and a stronger sense of connection between body and mind.

Process of Somatic Coaching
- Initial Assessment: In the first session, I assess your current situation and needs to develop a personalized process plan.
- Subsequent Sessions: In the following sessions, we will include a combination of conversation and body techniques. I will guide you through exercises focused on body awareness, movement, and breathing.
- Follow-Up: I regularly assess your progress and make necessary adjustments to your process to help you achieve your goals.
